J&R CPR Instructors offer classes to educate you and your staff
in the following areas:
CPR "Compressions for Life" & Life Saving Techniques
We teach a
complete sequence of CPR... Breathing (with or without a barrier device),
how to properly check a pulse (adult, child and infant), and how and
when to administer chest compressions (adult, child and infant).
AED- How and
when to properly use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
Choking- How
and when(after obtaining permission) to administer abdominal thrust
techniques to adults, children, infants, obese and pregnant persons.
*On July 1, 2006, the American Heart Association revised its standards
for CPR training.
First Aid - All taught under the American Heart Association Guidelines.
How to treat burns & cuts.
The splinting
of broken bones.
How to inject
someone with an epi-pen that may be allergic to bee stings, peanuts,etc.
What to do if you
encounter someone whose clothing may have caught fire.
What to do in an
electrical accidents.
How to properly
put on and remove rubber gloves.
